Help us make it rightWe were approached on a door-to-door sales call by a Five Diamond Protection sales rep. I was reluctant to sign up with the company, but the rep offered to not only buy out our current alarm monitoring contract, but also that as an "advertising home" we'd get a $25/month rebate. We signed up and the tech was out within a few days to set up the system. After the install, I tried to get in touch...
This company will have false friendly people come nocking at your door offering false information that you think is true, but at soon as you are in the contract they will disappear and you will not be able to locate them any more, they told me that they will take care of my old alarm system early termination fee back in September 2009 it is now March 2010 and the old alarm system that I had is still charging me for it, please be careful and dont do business with this company called FIVE DIAMOND PROTECTION.
Pros
+ Nothing
Cons
- Locks you in a 5 year contract
This company will randomly stop by your house for a so called sales pitch. They wore shirts that look like a major company called Protection One. My aunt believed that Protection One was upgrading her home monitoring system and it was actually Five Diamond and Security Networks that combine with each other to do this scam. Customer service is equally snide and uncooperative if you have a problem. If you need security go to a major company that actually cares about the service it providesand if they show up to your home ask for identification.
Pros
+ Nothing......except if you enjoy living...
