The First Church of Christ Scientist is surrounded by beautiful trees, and its spire rises to the sky. The building has a grand entrance with columns flanking the door. The wooden structure gives one a feeling of being in La Grange's past when buggies would of been rolling through the streets. On the side of the building is the reading room where one can read the works of founder Mary Baker Eddy.
