CrossFit Studio City is not your typical gym. We do not have mirrors, treadmills, or weight machines. We do not read magazin...es, talk on cell phones, or watch television during our workouts. We do not do the same boring routines that produce minimal results. Instead, we have knowledgeable coaches who ensure you are performing at your best. When we run, we run for real. We lift barbells,...

Upscale ambiance, delicious food

I have been here a few times and I enjoyed the food and ambiance. Even though there is a fresh vibe to the place with a side bar where people are smoking and mingling, there is a romantic feel to it due to the fireplace and dim lights. Romantic but Light I guess you could say. The co'ed bathrooms are pretty interesting as well. Our waitresses have been very friendly and in fact every time I've been there one of the waitressess has remembered us and makes light conversation. Make sure you make reservations as it is a hard place to get into if you don't. Price: Be prepared to spend about $75 for dinner & drinks if you're on a date. Dress: Classy

Firefly Restaurant Review

There's no sign to let you know that you've arrived at Firefly, so look for the vine-covered exterior of this Studio City hideaway. The front area is a sexy library lounge, with comfortable sofas and book-lined shelves, where you can sip craft cocktails from the bar. Meanwhile, the romantic garden patio, washed with candlelight and warmed by a flickering fireplace at night, lets guests slip...

Still a Studio City "scene" after more than a decade, this "gorgeous" New American has "ambiance" to spare, with a fire-lit patio, curtained cabanas and an "inviting bar" (open until 2 AM); though some find the Med-influenced fare merely "decent" and the service just "fine", it's "always packed" nonetheless, so reservations are a must.

The front of Firefly is a sexy library lounge with comfy sofas, deep red walls and gilt-framed mirrors. The dining area is a covered patio with a central fireplace, some cozy tables separated by curtains and scores of candles. It's a truly… Read More

Opened in 2002 by Jeffery Best, a veteran of the Hollywood club scene, this dream of a bar and restaurant is the meeting place of choice for Valley dwellers to drag their Eastside and Hollywood hipster friends. Flavored by '40s noir (think Bogie in The Big Sleep), this is a sexy and simple nightspot where visitors can recline on comfy cushions, warm up by the fire pit in the middle of the...

The ambiance here is adorable and the food isn't bad but the staff is a bit stuck up. When I got there I was a little unsure whether it was the right place because it didn't have a sign but I...

In January 2002 Firefly Restaurant opened, one of Studio City?s most unique and respected dining and drinking establishments. Firefly seamlessly melds refined and rustic, vintage and contemporary. The "Library?, the bar, the outdoor dining and multiple patios offers a space that is warm and inviting, comfortable yet lively. We embody the sophistication of a fine dining restaurant and the...

Impressive interior with food to match.

Tips about this business (3)

Where to Sit: Because the dining room is outside, smoking is allowed. Request a table closer to the front if this is a problem--the heavier concentration of it takes place at the back bar, but the high ceilings allow smoke to dissipate quickly.

Know Before You Go: Modest ones beware: The bathroom is unisex.

Look Good: If you get lost, look for the ivy-covered building on the south side of the street with the valet out front. There is no sign.
