Been to a Famous Dave's before in VA, and it does not appear to be a genuine barbecue pit, the food was good, but not "fall off the bone" barbecue. Our waiter couldn't have been any friendlier. Went here for lunch with 5 other colleagues. Food was AWESOME! We all ordered the daily lunch special and we all loved it. Service was friendly, albeit a little slow (our waiter had several tables to tend to). Still, that won't stop me from going back!

Sat in the bar area and the bar tender was great. Quick service, good food, cold beer, For a chain BBQ place it was pretty good. They are a little pricey, but worth it. I would recommend the combo platter and a local beer.
