I am Dr Koenigsberg's practice administrator. He is an excellent ophthalmologist and we have a busy practice of over 10000 patients. Dr Koenigsberg spends time with his patients despite the busy nature of seeing both children and adults. We have many quality controls to ensure every patient is satisfied with their care here. I've reviewed the opinions of "erico" on this website. Dr. Koenigsberg is board certified in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains an active license to practice medicine and surgery in Florida. He is also fellowship trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (eye muscle disorders). He received his college degree at Duke University, a Master of Science (MS) in Microbiology at Miami University, and went to medical school at the prestigious Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He completed his internship at the world famous Cleveland Clinic foundation. He also completed a four year Ophthalmology residency program at LSU Eye Center in New Orleans, a top tier residency training program. Finally he undertook an elective fellowship year in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Temple University and St Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. His combined training took 16 years to complete. He maintains active hospital privileges at Baptist Medical Center, Wolfson Children's Hospital, St Vincent's Hospital, St Luke's Hospital and UF Shands Hospital in Jacksonville. Unfortunately some patients attempt to discredit a practice over the "real" issues which are missed appointment fees, average collections efforts for unpaid balances and letters of medical concern which are sent after missed appointments. I'm proud to represent this office and encourage you to call me with any questions. I can personally assure that you will have an excellent experience at our practice. WATCH OUT! Too many other eye docs in Jax to visit before this one...LAST RESORT ONLY! Doesn't listen well to patients, came across arrogant, and most important runs his business to take every $$ from patients first, then seems to care about patient well being.

I was so impressed with Dr Adam Koenigsberg. I had not this kind of thorough eye exam for a long time and was worried because I had double vision. I was referred to him by another eye doctor. He was able to cure my double vision with an eye muscle procedure in the hospital which was straightforward. I was also given some special glasses that help keep images in focus. I am so happy and my day to day life is so much better without the double vision that I suffered with for so long. A hug and big thank you to Dr Koenigsberg and Family Eye Care Center of Jacksonville!!!

If people don't know that you are the best eye muscle specialist by now, then I am going to tell them. I had exotropia, where my right eye went outwards. You straighted my eye one year ago. All the appointments with you and your supportive staff was a wonderful experience. I was made to feel like family. When I go to your office now I even hug your administrator and the receptionist. I remember all the help Erik gave me with my MRI appointment, the blood workups, the appointments with the Neurologist. I can only say thank you. I wish I could do more. Our office submits claims with great integrity and unfortunately certain services are not covered. It is true that after three bills are mailed to our patients, that the accounts are outsourced to an external collections agency.
