We went to the Fairview for some of their fried chicken tonight.
1. Server really made a mess of our order. Forgot to bring salads after appetizer, then forgot to bring one of the orders. One person in our party had to wait until the rest of us were half way finished before getting their order.
2. Oil that chicken...

AMAZING food. Italian influences. Great cheesecake. ALso, good steaks, salads, burgers and the famous Springfield horseshoe. Last week I had the seafood lasagna which is scrumptious. Such a big portion I took half home for lunch the next day! Friendly wait staff.

Great place! Friendly and efficient service, good food, good prices. (I love the house dressing!) They've done a lovely job of refurbishing the old place - clean and comfortable. Nice that the "kids" from the old neighborhood have brought back a place we all enjoyed for years. We'll go back again.
