Fairplex Liquor is located next to the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds. It's located next to a Mexican eatery.
This is a standard liquor store with about 4 or 5 coolers of craft beers, some singles, bombers, and six-packs. The selection was better than average. They have some limited releases but mostly standard craft beers and BMC.

Nice selection of beer that is all kept refrigerated (yayyyy)!!!! Problem is not many people are buying certain beers. Why is that a problem, you say? Shouldn't that be a good thing?! Lots of nice IPAs are sitting in their coolers that are wayyyyyyyyyy past their prime dates.
Be sure to double check dates when purchasing something from here.

Just a short distance from downtown La Verne sits Fairplex Liquor, which shares a small parking with a Mexican joint. Spaces are small in number, though I had several options where I wanted to park my car. It also appears to have a drive in, a concept which I didn't want to taste today. Dropped by here today to finally check it out...after all, it's within walking distance from my pad! Picked up a couple Hitachiro Nest beers at about $5.50/12oz bottle.
Selection was solid - nothing totally outstanding, but definitely worthy. The setup is a little odd, with the craft beer bombers on a completely different wall than the craft beer 6 packs, with all the BMC products in between...
