Another Irish pub, but this one is Ireland as a theme park. The odd thing about it is its location: in the heart of Chinatown. Fadó was designed and built by the Irish Pub Company of Dublin, which shipped everything -- the stone for the floors, the etched glass, the milled wood -- from Ireland. Been here twice now when I’m over for work. Great selection of beers and porters. Not too expensive in relation to D.C. prices! Great staff!

This place has a truly a laid back traditional Irish pub atmosphere with good reasonably priced pub food and live music. A great find. Try the fish and chips!

We stopped in for lunch last weekend. Food was really greasy. The fries were so dark they were almost black. Time to change the oil in the fryer?? And Service was brutal. Kept forgetting our drinks and took forever to bring our bill and collect...

Pros:
Beer, it is really good there and worth to give it a try.
Good, not loud music with different styles.
Quiet authentic Irish atmosphere, but with great american influence.
Special Fado burger was really tasty.
Friendly staff.
Cons:
Crowdy.
Lack of traditional Irish meals...

Popped in here for a quick drink. Only stayed for 1 as the place felt soulless. No atmosphere, slow service and disjointed. We will re visit as we are certain this was just one of those nights
