After 26 years, this Larkspur spot is still going strong. Owner Fabrizio Martinelli turns out Italian dishes from the regular and handwritten specials menu that feature fresh ingredients and clean flavors. Especially noteworthy are grilled eggplant with feta cheese, and halibut piccata.

Nicely varied menu, excellent preparation and attention to detail, good vibes. I've dined all over Italy, and this place holds its own in comparison. This is not just a neighborhood trattoria. Highly recommended.
