Good hotel overall... Cleanliness needs some improving

We stayed for 9 days while a family member was in the hospital. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the cleanliness level needed an upgrade.
There is no room service; hence, you have to go to the front desk for everything from cups to toiler paper. The front desk staff were awesome, though!

My husband and I have stayed here for the past five or six years to attend football games, usually for 2 -3 weeks. This year the rooms had been painted, there were new furnishings (couch, chairs, dining stools in kitchen, sink and countertop in bathroom, and carpet). As a result, it was cleaner than usual.
