But kick back and relax, because this small, homey place is going to put on a feast. Specialties include berbere paste flavored stews, called Wots, which will get your blood pumping. We had the vegetarian combo platter. Good food and great fun. Plus three different choices of Ethiopian beer.
The restaurant is small but very busy (this on a Sunday night). But only the owner and one cook, so the service is slow. Worth the wait, but be sure to plan for that in advance.

Nice cultural experience... eating off the same platter to bring people together. However, the food was okay. Could have been much better. Additionally, the furniture needs some updating.

take friends, order lots of different options and enjoy sitting around the table enjoying a communal meal served on top of a communal serving of injeera (traditional ethiopian and eritrean sourdough pancake.)
it can be intimidating to jump into ethiopian food head (hands?) first. don't be shy, ask questions and be adventurous!
