Help us make it rightWe rented a limo bus for our wedding. It was close to 90 degrees outside and the air conditioning did not work. In addition, the electronics failed thus we could not open windows or listen to music. When all was said and done, the groom and a bridesmaid suffered heat stroke. I put a deposit down on a limo 90 days in advance. The event we were attending was canceled and we canceled the limo 60 days in advance and were told we could use our $200 deposit in the future as long as we had our receipt. We recently called and were told the deposit was no longer valid. I guess I would be less upset if they had not told me that it could be used in the future and they had not set that expectation. but in the end $200 is $200 and 60 days notice is more than sufficient notice for a cancellation.
