Equinox

Though locals don't frequent this Fi-Di (Financial District) place, it's very popular with tourists. The hook? The 17-story Hyatt's rooftop restaurant has a revolving floor that gives each table a 360-degree panoramic view of the city every 45 minutes. In addition to cocktails, the Equinox serves dinner daily.

As of May 31st, of some year up to and including 2007, this restaurant has closed its doors. Looking up at the top of the hotel, (which has been conveniently cropped from the picture on the hyatt regency home page), I'm convinced the entire once-revolving box has been dismantled. I have to disagree with the negative reviews. I took my girlfriend there. We both were extremely happy with the food, service, and everything about the experience. I went to this restaurant with my fiance for a romantic dinner in san francisco. What a disgrace!!! i was so ashamed i took her there. we ordered the chicken, it sucked. the bread was as hard as a rock. the only good thing was the pina coladas we ordered. please dont come here. STAY AWAY! the total was $72 Chilli's is way much better.
