Came here on a Thursday night at 8 pm looking for Cuban food after we saw the movie "Chef" with Jon Favreau. We ordered two El Cubano sandwiches (about $7 each) and one margarita (also about $7). A Cuban themed place which doubles as a nice mexican restaurant during the day and a salsa bar in the evening. Great bartender Mark I think was his name. A lot of locals but the tourist looking to dance come by too.

We wandered in one evening to discover this pearl of a place. After the "awkward white people learning to dance" session, the place filled up with a splendid Latin feel. It's one big dance floor, with chairs lining the wall and only a few tables and a bar.
Excellent food and cool that we had to walk into the kitchen...

I have to admit it. I have never been to this restaurant. As a cuban, I was very excited when I found a cuban restaurant in Fort Worth (other than my mom's kitchen). When I checked the menu I did not recognized any of the dishes as cuban and most of them I had never heard of. BTW, cuban food...

Embargo is where people come to get their dance on. This Fort Worth club and bar plays a mix of Latin music, and also features live performances on certain days. There is a firm dress code of no baggy clothing, so make sure you dress nicely. There are free dance lessons offered on certain days, so check the website's calendar if you want to improve your moves.
