Terrible place. More nursing home then assistant living. Went with a friend to visit a friend. Staff is like a little Payton Place. I did not see much attention to residents. One nurse our friend talked about does care a lot about her residents. The place is so out dated. They cannot keep staff..As we have seen on previous visits..

It is very interesting to note that all of the very positive reviews on this site were written within in a few days of each other. Looks like a concerted campaign to offset a lot of the negative things going on here, and the complaints by family members. Don't be fooled. There are indeed some good people who work here, but overall you need to avoid this place like the plague. Always...

Don't be fooled by the fancy website, this facility is all about maximizing profit margins even if it is at the expense of your loved ones. The Residency Agreement that you sign includes a right for them to terminate "with or without cause". I would like to say that I love working at Elmcroft. I have been there for a while and I love the residents, families and staff. I feel that we are a very strong family and team. We have had to deal with some very negative issues in leadership but now, we have the opportunity to move forward and make Elmcroft everything it is capable of being. Elmcroft has been there 100% of the four years for my aunt and uncle (who passed). My aunt loves her home and family at Elmcroft. Her alzheimers makes her hard to deal with sometimes, but the staff and Director know exactly how to deal with her. Their love, patience, and caring attitude are outstanding. I recommend Elmcroft as the best assisted living home in the area.
