We moved about June 2013. A month before we did, I called them using the numbers on the brochure they provided. The call goes straight to voicemail and so I left a voicemail on my first attempt. A young man, came to the door, he stated he was here to update my security system.  When I asked why there was a difference in the name of his company, and the company I was already being secured by he stated that APX Home Security Systems no longer existed.  He stated that ADT Security Systems had bought them out and they would be servicing my contract for security. I was approached by an individual who was going door to door to sell ADT home security products.  I believed that he was honest because he indicated that he just finished his Mormon mission; he sat me down and talked at great lengths about it.  He then indicated that the service would be $47/month.  At that point, I told him that the price was too high.  He then asked, "How does $7/month sound?...
