This restaurant is inexpensive and simple but the food is excellent. I ordered from the Ala carte menu due to the large portion size and had still took half my burrito home. This is an every day, no fuss restaurant. Recommend for folks who want good food at a good price in casual dining.

Admittedly, the food here is pretty good but I haven't figured out why it is so well liked by the working class locals. I love going to this place. The food is great,the service wonderful. It's that hold in wall kind of place. I know it was here when I moved here in 1984.

Whoever said this place is closed is incorrect. My husband & I ate there today and ordered their steak fajitas and jalapeno poppers. Delicious! Very humble surroundings inside and out, but clean and with excellent food and service. We discovered this place on Groupon.com & got a great deal on very good authentic Mexican food.
