The food is good, breakfast, lunch or dinner. My favortie are the breakfast burritos. I love the fresh fruit fresca drinks on the counter for free taste, Cantelope, Watermelon and Pineapple. Each very refreshing. Also VERY good service.

My favorite bean and cheese burritos ever!!I consider myself a bean and cheese burrito aficionado, and no burrito comes close to that of El Merendero. Every time I come home to California I have to come here to satisfy my Mexican food cravings which go by completely ignored in New Jersey where the Mexican food is tolerable at best. Also, they have great nachos.

Place makes awesome Mexican food. I always get the number 21. Is very tasty, with green Chile sauce and carne asada or your choice of other meats. Also has a panaderia or bakery attached to it. Only thing that wrong is the city imposed paid parking. Other than that, definitely recommend to anybody that likes Mexican food.
