The food is so good, muuyyyy Rico! and worth the money ;) the customer service was awesome. I would recommend this place for sure! and they have a decent island bar to the side in case you like that too. really awesome:) So great food, great music, and great service, what more you want

I have eaten at El Matador several times. The food is inconsistent. One day is it good, the next it is not worth your gas money. Inconsistency is my biggest problem with this restaurant. My other issue is the lack of spice. This is one Americanized place. The food is bland. It is not hot/spicy at all. There salsa is bland as well. They only offer one salsa. My favorite Mexican...

Authentic!. Chose this restaurant for lunch on the way to Miracle Resort in Desert Hot Springs...LOVED the food. Decided to go off menu for the small tacos of carne asada and pork, topped with onions and cilantro, fresh guacamole and housemade salsa on the side. Well worth the $1.25 per taco price and will go back for supper while we are here as the variety increases after 6pm. Wish we were...
