El Charro has a lot of Mexican food options to choose from and I think they are under new management in the past year because everything has improved. Especially, the food which was never bad, but it seems fresher and tastier than before. I love Mexican food and they are the closest to my home so our family goes there...

I heard really great things about this restaurant, to include a touching story about the roses the owner planter all around the place for his wife back in the day.
If the owner gets the chance to read this post.. Stop serving powdered horchata, and maybe revisit your food vendor/quality choices. I believe this restaurant has slipped in some areas...

Large portions of good food

The service was very attentive and helpful. The portions were very big and well-made. There isn't anything way above-and-beyond, but everything was dependably good. The house margarita was large, if a little spendy at $9. I had the chile combo plate (pictured) containing chile verde, chile colorado and a chile relleno. I'd recommend it.
