Edward's Restaurant Review

Edward's --- once a spin-off of famed brasserie Odeon --- is a cozy TriBeCa spot that sticks to a refined brasserie sensibility in service and décor. The menu, on the other hand, is more American in its sympathies, be it bacon and eggs for breakfast, tuna melts for lunch, or cheese ravioli for dinner. Bedecked with mirrors on both sides of the long narrow room, a sturdy wooden bar and checkered...

Edwards restaurant serves up delicious french cuisine, but is not necessarily a kid-friendly restaurant. Edwards is frequented by adults...

Local haunt for artsy Tribecans and their Brooklynite pals, catches the spillover from Odeon across the street. Sweet space with brasserie looks, you can check out the competition on the mirrored walls. Awesome moules frites rival neighbor Petite Abeille. Cute, model-y barstaff offer an impressive wine-by-the-glass list and shake seriously salacious cocktails into the wee hours. You'll be a...

Edwards is a small neighborhood American Bistro, which serves as a good fall back when the Odeon has a wait. Warm and friendly with a small outdoor seating area.

Amazing brunch

Even though brunch was ending they still allowed us to get my favorite eggs Benedict! The service was a little slow because they were changing shifts but we were in no rush to get out because the food was just that good

We had an early reservation but showed up over an hour early, on a Wednesday night, and it was really comfortable to sit there the whole time. Wines by the bottle--a simple, but decent list--are half price on Wednesday. The servers were friendly, and the guacamole, calamari, and caesar salad with shrimp were all really up to a Manhattan standard of well prepared and presented. It filled up at...

The food was horrible. Hot dogs for my kids were grayish. Hamburger way over cooked. My plate was water logged from the spinach, chicken was dry, and the mash potatoes were really salty. The French fries were good. The salad was good. The brownie for dessert was not cooked... Seriously raw batter. The service was slow but there was only ONE server. I do not recommend this place.
