The staff mostly tried to be helpful, but they don't have anything to work with. The elevators don't consistently work. The room was beastly hot or freezing cold, with no way to regulate the temp. from the room. The rooms were too small and outdated. The bar at the Roberts Walthall Hotel (formerly the Edison Walthall – they haven’t even changed the sign out front yet) is a haven for business travelers, legislators, and the odd wanderer. You’re most likely to see a crowd during large downtown events like Jubilee Jam. It’s a nice, peaceful place to grab a drink or two before hitting the town for a few drinks more.
