Years ago when I lived in Wisconsin, we really loved the Edgewater in Jefferson for well-prepared food and eclectic atmosphere. I recently returned to WI for a two-week vacation, and the cousins wanted to take me back "in time" ... and what a great trip!...

This restaurant deserves your attention and business. The atmosphere is so unique and intimate. The quirkiness of the leaning dining room next to the river is memorable. The niches for dining by the fireplace are romantic. The bar is so cozy and the drinks perfect....

The pork special and the ribeye were great as usual. They have some very different specials and I haven’t had a bad one yet. Service always great.

Great food - fun ambiance

The prime rib was very good. The only downside of the meal was the dessert.... the chocolate cake was very dry (and I think more than a few days old).
