A sophisticated lounge on the spot of the old Revolver, East/West has light bamboo floors and intimate seating on couches and plush chairs. Huge monolithic boom chicka type place. With a couch in the middle. Weird, no? Probably gets weirder if you squint. Skip the food offerings, fill up on sweet, flavored, sticky booze. Various gay nights, lesbian nights, but generally just one big party. Try to avoid the bathroom. A terror. Probably even for the people bangin' in there.

What I love about this place is that, while the other bars on the street are packed, you can often find a seat on the patio. They always have drink specials, but the wine can add up quickly.
