Lived in olympia from kindergarten through high school and never tried this place. Definitely an Oly staple. They are known for their "goop" which is like a pickled tarter sauce. Had their "standard" burger...Wasn't the best I've had but definitely a place to try

Yes, Big Tom's has great hamburgers and chicken burgers. They're not to be missed. But... their Taters & Gravy is wow, unique, and oh so good. If you can, stop by on Saturday or Sunday mornings for this breakfast bit of food heaven. They take tater tots and pour sausage cream gravy over them and liberally sprinkle that with cheese...

These guys make delicious burgers and good fries. Their milkshakes are excellent as are their hot dogs. The burgers are always nice and hot with fresh toppings. And the hot dog withe some of their signature goop is awesome! Only thing about this place that's not so great is their location. In to small of a lot at an awkward...

Went for malts and milkshakes!
Soooo good with many flavors to course from!

If you're looking for a simple burger and fries, but desire something more delicious than fast food, Big Toms is an Olympia staple. I have yet to find a burger that compares. If you're not super hungry the little Tom is perfect. An order of fries with a side of "Goop" and any one of their delicious shakes, you're set...
