I've been here twice, once with my boyfriend's family and once with just the two of us. The only thing either of us remember of the food is the creme brulee cheesecake and our addiction to it. Aside from that, the food, while good, will likely not bring us back here.

I love their pancakes

East-West Cafe has proved itself over the years to have consistently satisfying food with some unusual selections too. The quality of the food is always fine, and the restaurant itself is simple, but inviting. However, no matter what else is being served, I almost always order the pancakes which are unique.

The menu says, "Chicken Shish Kebab -- A Must." No, its not. First, its not a must and shouldn't even be a maybe. Cooked avocado is yuck

My husband and I had lunch here on Tuesday. He had a salad which was ok. I had an eggplant sandwich which consisted of overcooked, slimy eggplant and avocado that had been put in the sandwich and then grilled so that the avocado was cooked and terrible. Always a safe bet

East West always seems to be a safe bet for any appetite and palette. Lots of veggie choices. This restaurant is smaller and seems to have a less complete menu the one in Santa Rosa, but I'd go back. Good turkey burger!
