This dessert was apparently invented in a Scottish fish and chips shop but never became very popular due to the fact that it is so extremely unhealthy. I am quite certain that one won't kill you though, and as a chocolate lover I was over the moon when I left Eamonn's that night, vowing to come back.

The best fish and chips I've ever had but you'll have to wait to get a seat. Worth the wait though or ask to join somebody that looks friendly.

needs more tables.....but still excellent fish and chips st good price...

Why is it so hard to find good Irish/british style fish and chips? Guess what, this is pretty close. Thick chunks of fish and good batter. However I ordered the ray and it tasted like windex there was so much ammonia in the meat. Yuck - o. They replaced it without charge but i am wary now. So much potential....

True Fish & Chips. I love authentic fish & chips, so I had to give this place a try. The cod is absolutely authentic, and the chips do not come any better and are hand cut on the spot! Add in all of the original sauces (made at the restaurant also), and you have a winning combination.

Business description (4)

Lunch, Take Out, Seafood: "Thanks be to cod" reads the sign on the entrance to this casual, Dublin-inspired, fish and chip joint. They offer a variety of fresh fish options, including prawns, grouper, and, of course, cod. The fried fish of your choice is served in one of their special mayo-based sauces with a side of hand-cut fries. But try not to fill up on the main course -- they also have a...

Eamonn's offers a wide assortment of fine Irish dishes from Dublin including seafood, fish, chicken, coleslaw, chips and more. The atmosphere is light and the restaurant is perfect to come to in groups for fun. The location is at a busy intersection and parking is very limited to metered spaces by the sidewalk.

Great fish and chips!
