I've always loved this part of Iowa along the Mississippi in a great OLD river town. There isn't anything over fancy about the location compared to others in the state but it is still worth the visit. They have lots of wonderful wines to choose from and even many gift or decorating items too. Nice friendly staff!
We were wandering and discovered this local winery. I love a sweet fruit wine and these are superb-not fruit flavored grape wines but true fruit wines with outstanding full flavor. The tasting room was very nice and full of souvenir and wine favors of all kinds. Cute small town along the Mississippi River Road Scenic Byway North of Dubuque.
The shop is lovely and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The wines are reasonably priced and you can taste up to five for free. All five of the wines I tried were to die for and if i had more money I would have bought two of everything. Needless to say, I will definately be returning.
Found this little gem after a recommendation from a stranger we met at another winery. The staff were extremely friendly and the wines were out of this world.
