Du-par’s in Oxnard follows the same formula that’s worked for this southland diner since 1938: legendary buttermilk pancakes (the recipe is locked away at the restaurant’s original L.A. location), American pies and an old-fashioned, no-nonsense aesthetic. Now that the nearby Thousand Oaks Du-pars has closed, generations of locals bring their offspring here to continue the custom of packing it...
