Recently stayed at DS in Ship Bottom. Room had been flooded by recent rain storm and the carpet was wet. Started getting stinky. They offered no discount, nothing. If you have trouble walking also not the place.
Lots of obstacles for seniors, etc.
For $130 in the winter not a value. Had to stay there due to function. Awful. Terrible.

Spent a week here 9/8-9/12. Stayed on the 2nd floor, enjoying the beautiful view of the beachfront and ocean. Though it's clear that the facility is worn from many-a traveler, it is clean. The best place ever stayed onLBI. Clean , safe , convieniet to the entire island. Rooms, linens, bathroom-- spotless. Just walk out to the beach and see sunrise. Assigned parking a great plus.
