Dr. Whitlow is a wonderful doctor! He is very thorough with explaining what is on the MRI and in terms you can understand. My surgery was very successful and I attribute that to him. He will be missed!

I am very impressed with Dr. Justin Whitlow that he takes time with his patients. He explains everything in terms that you can understand. He explained that I needed surgery and I told him lets do as soon as possible and in 6 days I had surgery and on to full recovery. Great doctor.

Dr. Whitlock took the time to explain the surgery in great detail and I could not have been more pleased with the results from my Right L3 hemilaminectomy with lumbar microdiscectomy. I was in the hospital one day and out the next with very little pain.
The hospital staff were excellent and checked on me frequently.
I would highly recommend Dr. Whitlow to anyone experiencing back pain.

Extremely knowledgable and well prepared to do my surgery.

He cares about his patients.

When he ran into problems during my surgery, he took his time to make sure my surgery was performed correctly. Originally the procedure was to take 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Due to complications the procedure ended up taking 4 1/2 hours.

He us not honest with what is truly going on with the patient or what us on the MRI results. He takes his patient and their family for stupid when I have worked in the medical field and know how to read an MRI report myself. He bables on and tries to make the patient feel like they are not really in pain and he doesn't know why if they are in pain when it's right there in black and white...
