I went to Dr Wiles for Degenerated Disc Disease. He is very impolite, arrogant, does not care for the pain you are going through. I would not recommend him as a Neurologist to anybody. He has no bed side manners at all!!!

Suffered from sciatica for years. 2015 Dr. Wiles did surgery on my lower back. Fused 2 joints and the pain was gone when I came out of recovery. Very little down time. Was not a painful operations and I would recommend him. He is very soft spoken and kind. His staff members are the same.

My wife went to him for a min invasive procedure. 27 yrs old and was left walking on a Cain, and now has to have 2 disc fused. 5 after visits and never was able to see him again and the staff is clueless as to what is going on. Run from this doctor, as he is the head of neurosurgery for this hospital in Johnson city.

Interested in having your surgeon refuse to see you once the surgery results in a failure? Go see Wiles. I am awaiting a second surgery from a different neurosurgeon due to Wiles making my degenerative disc disease worse than before. This is completely obvious when looking at the pre-surgery and post-surgery MRI's side-by-side. I will never step foot in this office again.

My mother had back surgery 5 years ago. After Dr. Wiles did surgery my moms back pain was worse. She never missed a follow up appointment and when she went requested to see Dr. Wiles vs the PA. She was never able to see Dr. Wiles to have her questions answered. She ended up seeing a PT that does neurosacral therapy and was finally able to get some pain relief.
My advice, heed the warnings!
