Dovie's did not honor reservations made and secured by a deposit. I reserved a room at Dovie's Restaurant for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. Dovie's required that I send in a deposit to secure the room and protect them in case I cancelled. I sent in the deposit as they asked. Weeks later I received a call from Dovie's.
