The food was great. We very much enjoyed the atmosphere and music. The staff was friendly and the service was great. I had the kale salad and salmon. Glad we went to Dover Forge

My husband and I went to Dover for the Octoberfest at Mount Snow and had dinner at Dover Forge the night before the festival. This restaurant has come a long way since Hermitage purchased it. While very good a year ago, it has become excellent with a larger and more expansive menu. Be sure to start with the Maple Manhattan - surprisingly good and not overly sweet. I'm actually going to make one at home it was that good. We shared the smoked meatloaf...

The restaurant was not open the night we were there. The bar was open with the same same menu. The food was very good and price was reasonable for the area.
