Better boudin out there.... The boudin was just very "weird" tasting & texture. First off, I live right smack dab in the middle of REAL Cajun country so I know boudin. This boudin has a very weird texture, not the normal "dressing" meat consistency you would expect. And to me, it tasted too much of their seasoning, it didn't taste like boudin, it tasted like Don's seasoning mix. The cracklins...

Best boudin- period. Well in my opinion anyway. Don's boudin is one of the best I've ever eaten and is always such a treat for me and my family. I'm not a fan of cracklin but my husband swears they are the best. I also love their selection of meat, kind of out the way for us but always a treat when we get to stop here.

One of the best links of Boudin in the world. They use a lot of green onion in the link so you must be a fan of green onion in order to appreciate the link. The other speciality meets they sell are also very good.
