Working in the area and asked at the grocery store about places to eat in town and the woman at the cash told me about Dons Drive In which just opened for the season. The woman said it was a local ritual that people awaited the opening of Dons so they could get the double burger !!!

We stop by here on our way to our campsite. They have fantastic ice cream and great greasy food options (corn dogs are good for example). We go here all the time for ice cream and it is always good. It is soft serve and they have plenty of combinations for ice cream. They have flurries, shakes, boston shakes, malts, cones, sundaes, and other varieties. Prices aren't too bad. It is cash only so if you need cash, the Fowler State Bank is across the road...

We crave food from Kentlands famous Dons drive in!!! Tonight we traveled an hour to get delicious dessert- peanut butter boston shake, peanut butter cup flurry, and hot fudge sundaes- can't be beat!!! So delish!!
