Doc Magrogan's promises the freshest seafood to you. Our menu's Fresh Catch is a testament to that promise.

A West Chester institution is born! In the late 1800's and the 1900's, there were more than a dozen places to enjoy oysters in West Chester. As we developed our classic 1900's Oyster House, we strived to pay tribute & homage to the great tradition of enjoying little aphrodisiacs. We have spared no expense to create an

The end of an era with the Dic leaving town. I loved this place due to its heritage. Buck a Shuck Mondays . Free birthday appetizers. Fresh seafood and perfect ambience. Alas they're off to Sea Isle City.

Visited this restaurant yesterday with some family and friends, first time visit for us. My husband and I are fans of fried oysters so visiting and oyster House seemed like a no-brainer. we both ordered the oyster Po boy and to be honest there were two oysters on the sandwich and neither of us thought the sandwich tasted good. Others...

We hosted my cousin's bridal shower here. The brunch menu is very good in particular the coconut french toast. The staff is very friendly and our server Dee was extremely accomodating. I am sad this restaurant will close May 1, 2016. Get in while you can. The oysters are fantastic!

We went here for a birthday celebration with several friends. My wife and I were eager to try the restaurant after scanning the menu. Going to an oyster house you expect the raw oysters to be great. They were not. By the time they made it to our table most of the oysters had no liquor. We tried 5 different...

The food was expensive for the quality which was just ok. I will not be going back again. Limited menu and not enough health choices.

Fans report this “traditional seafood place” in West Chester “swells like a blowfish” on Monday nights when it offers its “one-buck-a-shuck” special on a “huge selection of oysters”; “courteous” service and a “great drink menu” also make it a “local favorite”; P.S. it recently opened a new location in University City.

Try out the delicious food at Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House. Most famous for their oysters, this restaurant also serves other excellent seafood dishes. Their menu features a wine list with some great selections. The restaurant does get crowded during peak hours, so a reservation would be wise. Check for the specials before ordering.

Doc Magrogan's Oyster House is a Seafood, Private Parties, and Bar restaurant where most Menuism users came for a family meal, paid between $25 and $50, and tipped more than 18%.
