I have had lunch here once, and the food was good, service was good as well as value. But Im not sure that this is the same Dixie House that was reviewed in the paper. I thought that one was on 377South. South of the traffic circle.

I've eaten at this place on more than one ocassion, with seating and serving two people it was not bad. However, today I decided to bring the whole family and though I understand seating time will be delayed due to how many people are in line they took my party of ten and squished us into two square tables designed to seat 4 a piece. We went tonight for dinner. They had a guitarist playing and singing. Although the music was good, it was too loud. We could not hold a conversation, much less hear ourselves think. The veggie portions were smaller than what they serve children at school. The prices were too high. We will not return.

Everything they serve is wonderful! I really miss the chicken papacatti (sp?) They used to serve on Thurs or Fri. Really love their strawberry/banana cake! Unfortunately it doesnt like me...

The food isn't bad, Pretty inexpensive sit down restaurant. Inside is kinda old and dated, but the food isn't bad for the price.
