Outstanding Service and Caring Staff

Distinctive Petsitting and their staff of dog walkers, pet sitters, cat sitters and house sitters have cared for our family of pets over the last eight years. The fact that we have used these folks for that length of time is a testament to how much we have valued the care, concern, flexibility and professionalism they have always exhibited.

In that time, they have cared for 5 dogs; always 3 or 4 at a time and 2 cats. The friendly staff and knowledgeable sitters have been great about providing the extra care needed whether for a new puppy or our aging dogs and cats. It is difficult to explain how we have ended up with such a menagerie. Their caring house sitters have been invaluable in making it all work in our active lives by accommodating last minute travel plans and schedule changes.

Their pet taxi services have helped our pets receive urgent veterinary care in our absence and their experienced vet techs have trimmed our pets nails.

While usually reluctant to make recommendations, we have always been very confident in telling friends about Distinctive Petsitting services and never fail to receive rave reviews after our friends have experienced their quality pet care.

Treats your pets like family!

Distinctive Petsitting is hands-down the best in the business. Not only do they have many years experience in pet sitting and dog walking, but the service is EXCEPTIONAL. If you value quality service, you will not be disappointed.

They take the time to get to know you and your pets and it is obvious the pet sitters genuinely and passionately love animals. My two cats adore their pet sitter and I know without a doubt they are very happy and comfortable when I'm away, what peace of mind to have. I know my fur babies are being treated like family.

Trustworthy, reliable, responsive, extremely professional, loving...I can't say enough good things about Distinctive Petsitting! ***** 5 stars!

Most Caring and Professional Petsitters

Again, Distinctive Petsitting came to my rescue when needed. Just knowing Lisa and her amazingly professional petsitters will be there (no matter what the circumstances) is so reassuring, personalized and rare in business today. I have a very busy schedule and my beloved lab is the love of my life. Distinctive Pet Sitting is by far the most professional and just as important, the most caring pet sitting service I have known in the last 30 yrs.

My dog, Misfit, has enjoyed the companionship and exceptional pet care provided by Distinctive Petsitting since the summer of 2008. Misfit receives daily exercise walks and above and beyond personal attention from her favorite pet sitter. I receive daily updates on Misfit’s activities and I am relieved to know that my beloved dog is happy and content while I am away from home.
Distinctive Petsitting has provided us with Pet Taxi services when Misfit needed to go to the vet for minor health concerns. The staff sitters have been wonderfully accommodating and reassuring when I could not leave work abruptly to go the vet with Misfit.
I can recommend this professional service and staff to anyone who truly cares about their pet. Distinctive Pet Sitting is simply the best!

Great Experience with these pet sitters!

Professionalism exceeded our expectations

Distinctive Petsitting located at 2451 Cumberland Parkway Atlanta 30339 is wonderful.

Our new puppies, Niles and Frazier, have received midday walks by these wonderful folks and have been house trained almost immediately. We started with two visits per day, but were soon able to reduce down to one visit daily. Not once, have Niles and Frazier soiled their crates or had an accident in the house during our daytime absence. This is another example of how these folks exceeded our expectations.

Our primary walker, Misty, has been fantastic and has bonded deeply with Niles and Frazier. Importantly, Misty has been extremely flexible and has always been available to make a second visit when needed. Often we have only been able to give a day or two notice that we need the second visit. This has never been a problem and has allowed us to participate in activities that occasionally take us away from home longer than we desire without feeling guilty about leaving Niles and Frazier for too long. On rare occasions, that Misty has been unable to visit Niles and Frazier, Lisa or another walker has been available.

Additionally, we are very happy with the amount of time all of Lisa’s petsitters have spent with our puppies. We have recommended Distinctive Petsitting to other dog owners and will continue to do so.

We would strongly recommend Lisa and her team of professionals to anyone in need of such services.
