The Disney Character Warehouse is the place I always recommend to my friends that are heading to Disneyland. I lived in CA some time ago & had the annual pass for several years, hosted foreign exchange students each month & would always take them to the Character Warehouse to purchase gifts for their family & friends back home. They were able to buy nicer gifts &/or more gifts by purchasing at the Warehouse instead of at the park.

Limited selection. Prices are mediocre. I didn't find anything that I wanted as a souvenir from Disneyland but somebody else might.
