I have eaten there for lunch twice (am a local) and the food was horrible. Will not eat there or recommend it (at least for lunch anyway,...the breakfasts may be better).

I loved this place! I stopped in while visiting family in Saxtons River. The place was packed, but the service was still good and as quick as it could be....

Since moving to Vermont to live with us, my father-in-law, who loves to eat out for breakfast in particular, has visited several of our go-to place in Southern Vt. The Dish is his absolute favorite. I had breakfast 5/5/13 at the dish - visiting family in Vermont from Maine - veggie omlet with home fries and toast -- my omlet was great, fresh tomatoe, spinich and pepper jack cheese and oinion -i had options of any three veggies and any cheese including feta! This restaurant provides consistently high quality food in a warm, welcoming environment. It is basic standard fare done well and with generous portions. The Maple Breakfast Skillet is my favorite.
