Price, More package options, customer service--- GREAT. Dish network offers better price and more package options and better service. Direct TV has little bit more to offer if you are looking for Sports.

We had a little gathering last Christmas and we ordered Pay per view Toy story 3 from Dish Network. The kids and even adults had a lot of fun. It was worth it! The quality of the picture was beyond HD. Next time, I'd order another movie from Dish. It was just so great! Thank you Dish!

I never had signal issues with DISH, always reliable. Just make certain to not put the satellite dish near any growing trees as it will eventually block the signal and you either have to chop the tree or move the dish.I think DISH has a Family package which is good at a lower price.

My parents switched to dish network after years of having direct tv. It was easy for them to learn the channels since it is well listed or organized. And it is well priced. All in all, I can see my parents happy with Dish.

Best premium movie channels

Hey hey,, Dish Network have the best premium movie channels and top 250 channels. You cannot find this in other networks. I am glad that we decided to take Dish, my family loves our theater room more than ever and always look forward to watch movies together, esp during weekends.
