I recently joined a girlfriend for the Micro market class offered by the store. Not only did we get to try veggies we had seen in the Ballard farmer's (but didn't know how to prepare) we had a great visit during a very relaxed class. I certainly recommend this event for lovely Sunday lunch of celeriac soup, roasted rutabaga and parsnips, kale with bacon and baby carrots, brussel sprouts and tiny potatoes.

I went to a Sweets for the Streets class with Autumn Martin and learned how to make several varieties of truffle. It was reasonably priced and very educational. The instructor was very knowledgable and lots of fun!

I browsed the shop afterward and found goods that I would find in City Kitchen or Sur la Table but at normal people prices. I'm definately headed back for kitchen goodies...
