Din Tai Fung is a must visit restaurant in LA, a little piece of Asia in the neighborhood. Since it is was rated as one of the top ten restaurants in the world by the "New York Times" it has attracted celebrities, politicians and of course, the main crowds. A big tip is to arrive 15 minutes early before the restaurants opens to avoid the wait of 45 minutes. The juicy pork dumplings are...

Classy, modern dumpling house

This is about the classiest, cleanest dumpling house you'll find. The decor is modern, the servers are all dressed in matching outfits, and the service is efficient. The dumplings are small, tender with delicate skins. My other favorites are the Shanghai rice cake and hot and sour soup. This place gets crowded on weekends, so be sure to go early or go on a weeknight. A good place to impress your friends who normally hate the typical no-atmosphere chinese restaurants.

Impressive dumplings

Average Rating

We went for a weekday lunch not long before closing time and we were seated immediately. The dumplings were outstanding in their quality, taste, and refinement. The setting and service were very agreeable. I cannot wait to return.

So juicy

Average Rating

Must eat if you are in the Arcadia area. Long wait for dinner so strategize your time when visiting other local stops. Goodness in every bite. You can watch the assembly line of kitchen staff hand roll the dumplings through the glass. No other dumpling house can compare. None.
