Help us make it rightWe have used DifferRentals on 3 different occasions, our daughters Graduation, son’s birthday and also a surprise birthday that my wife had for me. We have had great success with their tents and moonwalks. The young lady in the office was very accommodating with the two orders I had placed and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We compared the pricing to other rental companies’ in the Braintree area and they blew them away. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, thank you Mike K.
I will never do business with this company again. I had ordered a moonwalk, two rectangular tables and 15 chairs. I ordered 1month in advance and fully paid. During my order, I asked is someone going to set up the moonwalk and was told of course. One day before the delivery, I called and asked what time to expect them so that I could be there. The owner, Rick, told me that someone will call me. Well, the next day came, I waited all day and heard from nobody. At around 6pm, I got home and sure enough, there was a big blog of plastic laying deflated right in the middle of my lawn, 14 chairs and one table. My gate was left wide open for anyone to just come in and help themselves to whatever I have in my yard. When I called Rick to ask him to relocate the blog, the lady that was covering said no one is in the office and there's nothing she can do about it. So I called the "so called emergency cell number" which belongs to Rick and left him a message. Of course I never got a phone call. The next day which was the day of the event, I called first thing in the morning, Rick answered the phone and pretended that he didn't get my message. So I begin to tell him how unhappy I was with the service and can he send someone to change the location of the moonwalk. He told me to I can do that myself. I told him I tried, but the nails are to hard to remove.He told me sorry, I don't have any guys that can come out today, we are having a big event and I can send someone tomorrow as if he didn't know that my daughter's birthday party was today. I told him I don't need your sorry, I need you to remove this blog from the middle of my lawn so that I can entertain my guests. I told him tomorrow will be too late. I have 50 people to entertain and I can't do that with this big blog right smack in the middle of my yard. He said well i'm sorry and just hung up the phone on me. I called again and told him since i paid for my service, i expect to receive it. His answer was "well I'll send someone to take all the stuff back and refund you the money". So I said you couldn't send someone out to move the equipment to a corner, but you can send someone over to pick it up? What sense does that make? His answer, "well I don't like the attitude that i'm getting from you". The nerve of him. I ordered and paid for my services one month ahead of time and I still can't get it and he's upset about my attitude. Anyways, I ended up calling another company since my daughter was so dissapointed. This company (Rental Depot) was so proffessional and delivered, and set up the equipments in two hours. The price was probably about $10.00 more, but for the service I recieved, I didn't mind that at all. They have two locations, one is in W. Roxbury, 617-327-1200 and one in Stoughton, 617-327-1200. They made my daughter's day. Oh yes, I did end up getting my money back from them, but i made sure that he sent a confirmation email before I allowed his men to remove the equipments. Just didn't trust this guy after what happened.
Used Differentals for my sons 6th birthday. We rented a boys castle moonwalk, cotton candy machine and island oasis machine for the adults. Party was a hit with the kids and parents but the moonwalk was the main attraction. I have had issues in the past with renting these inflatable moonwalks, either they arrived late (in one case never arrived) and/or caked in mud or just not in great shape....
