In 1941, Travis Dickey opened the first Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Dallas, Texas. Today, Dickey’s serves up beef brisket, pulled pork, ham, polish sausage, turkey breast and chicken, with home-style sides from jalapeno beans to macaroni and cheese.
Every location still smokes all of their meats in the restaurant—the same way it was done in 1941, without any shortcuts.

Picked up the Family Pack. Yumyumyumyumyum. Two lbs of sliced brisket, baked potato casserole, green beans, coleslaw, bread pickles onions. it was great.

I ordered a 3 meat plate from Dickey's Barbecue in The Woodlands. The sliced brisket was served as chopped, the turkey portion was about 1 1/2 slices and the pork rib was a single rib. My wife order sliced brisket and it had a funky taste.…
