Help us make it rightFounded in dallas texas in 1941! Smoked slow and low with real hickory wood at every location every day.
We stopped by on our way through and loved the food, we will be returning. I have a pulled pork plate, baked pateo casserole and the mac and cheese. Everything was great.
We eat here often when we go through town- the food is always good, but the staff could definitely use some customer service training in hospitality!
While staying in Pendleton for a few days for work, I generally finish later in the evening and just want something quick and reasonably nutritious to take back to hotel. Having burned out on Subway, Dickey's is a nice option.
My husband took me here for my birthday, he had never had it, I have came before with my daughter. We were not impressed they weren't busy almost 7pm tables were dirty and needed to be wiped off. they all had plenty of time to do this we were the only ones inside and had a couple of cares go...
Fast food meets BBQ. It is just 2 minutes off the freeway on the John Day highway. Simple menu, quick order and delivery. The half rack of ribs is a good portion of food. Beans are good. Free mini soft serve ice cream cones for dessert. Lemonade good. Clean bathrooms. An excellent Pit stop (that's a BBQ joke...).
