Hold the oil

The chili was ok, the tamales tasted pre made, there was no air conditioning (it was hot in there), have them hold the oil. We we not greeted by the counter staff. The owner was very nice and personable. My friend did the firebrand chili challenge and said that was good. Kind of pricy and they only take cash.

We've visited Springfield for years and never noticed this little place on 9th Street. Once we saw it we had to stop and try the chili.
You enter and walk to the counter to order. She had the mild/medium. I got the medium hot and a Denburger. The food was served up before I got my change! (Cash only here.)...
