I've been to Dear Bushwick a handful of times and canNOT say enough good things about it. I tell everyone about this place! It's soooo good. An "English country kitchen" may not sound like much but everything they serve is perfect. Wonderful flavors, proper portions, simple yet elegant. Chef Jessica Wilson should walk the streets of Bushwick on rose pedals....

Arguably the best in Brooklyn, we stopped for a fantastic lunch in DB's laid-back courtyard. Stripped back and hip decor and atmosphere. We enjoyed that cuisine very much, a Brooklyn play on English fare. Perfect for brunch and I would have love to have come back for dinner. The service was attentive without being falsely gushy. I'd never been to Bushwick before, but the reviews this place got we're off the charts, so I trekked over to check it out. Well worth the trip. I moved to Bushwick several years ago but recently moved back last year. This is the best restaurant we've been to in our neighborhood, and it's my new favorite place in all of NYC. The smoked eggs and butter appetizer was amazing, and our main entrees (my boyfriend got the duck and I got the mushroom pie) were also amazing....
