A tradition dining place on main st. Recently closed by health dept. inside is very old and in need of update. Shut down recently by health dept. a sad loss for us.

I have breakfast with a close friend at Dean’s 2-3 times a month. The omelets are huge, they provide a large order of hash browns, and toast or biscuits (the biscuits are huge) with your order. The main dining area is nice, nothing real fancy....

Breakfast portions are huge and this diner atmosphere makes Dean's Cafe a fun little mom and pop shop to visit when you're visiting Pleasanton. The service is quick, and they don't rush you, even when there's a long wait list.

Serving breakfast to the Bay Area for 50 years, Dean's Cafe is located at the heart of downtown Pleasanton. With two pages of the menu dedicated solely to omeletes, Dean's can easily boast one of the biggest omelete menus in existence. Also an excellent choice for lunch, Dean's offers juicy burgers and delectable sandwiches and salads. Breakfast and lunch are served all day.
